Epoxy resin and maple burl. Similar to this video, on a smaller scale: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o71_86Kw544&t

I did a river table once, gave it to my brother for a Christmas present, I'll see if I can find a pic.

These ones^ I posted on facebook, have gone somewhat viral, responses are a bit overwhelming. Most are turned off by a $32 price tag, but plenty say ok I'll take two.

Those are sweet. Your work is always amazing. I’ll probably get one from you when I refill my paypal later in the year.

Nice work Martin. My Dad also turns burl. He usual is making bowls though. He has also tried making a few discs. A few years back I received his replica of a Polecat for a birthday. Wish I had a picture of the table he made for his brother. The center piece was a side cockpit window from an airplane. I can't remember what kind of plane it was from. I do remember the shape was a weird rounded triangle. I am going to pass on to him pictures of your minis and I bet he will be impressed and want to try it for himself. Anyways, keep up the great work, they are amazing.

That's some really nice work, Matt. A bit out of my price range... but that doesn't mean they aren't worth it. They'd make wonderful gifts, CTP/longest putt prizes, or even prizes for winning an event.
