She sounded quite congested (but not horrible) when I spoke to her yesterday. But I kept the conversation short, because I felt guilty even making her talk.

She's 89. I'm trying not to freak out and maintain my sanity, but I really hope she's strong enough to get through this.
Update: My mom's doing alright.
Apparently a mild case? They retested her Fri, and should get results tomorrow. If she's negative, they'll move her back to her old room. I think it will also be a big relief for her, emotionally.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

After not working (non-essential job) for almost 10 weeks, I am back to work.

If the weather was nicer, it wouldn't have been bad early. Wisconsin, late March, weather sucked.

April was probably 1 okay day of weather followed by 3-4 days of crummy weather.

Not a real good average for getting out to play or even just walk at a park.

If it was a nice day, I tried to get out and throw, even though that meant driving an hour to get to a course that was playable and open.

Going back has been weird, hearing the different stories of co-workers describing the extremes that they encountered as far as social distancing, mask wearing (or not)and general different attitudes that were encountered.

Where I work, the company is enforcing masks required for employees and attempting to enforce social distancing among employees, but once other non-employees are on site, they will not be required to "mask" if they chose. Social distancing will be encouraged, but not really able to enforce.

That will interesting to see how that plays out,

I am not optimistic...

i work security and we TRY to enforce the social distancing and mask wearing. it's like herding cats. they do it when they think no one is watching and kinda maybe do it other times.

I see the point your making but imo going with few friends and playing a round there still is very little interaction as suppose to alot of sports so I see what they want and they want people to keep playing but people just need to learn hygiene and safety

I work in health care in BC, Canada.

As much as I understand how much tourism drives our economy, I fear the day that our borders reopen. We've got some interesting times ahead.
