Default should MVP bring back the texture?

so theres constant discussion/ bickering/ whining/ complaining about MVP not offering a base plastic option. i was feeling up my 3rd run (blanked out cam realty yet textured) ion and i think going back to texture would solve any grip issues users have brought up.

i read on an ion history page that people recommended that mvp drop the texture and they did, but i think it would greatly enhance the grip on at least their putters. i think the brothers had a great idea at first, and the community struck it down without knowing the consequences.

i would love to see a newer run ion with the texture, to use in inclement weather. would you?

Eh, I've always been in the camp that didn't mind the texture but I don't think it would be that popular if it was brought back. People's sense of touch are varied plus the texture had a very satin feeling to them that didn't really do much for my grip personally.

Texture is cool. Probably be a PITA to run both. I'd buy one because I can't get myself to throw my one nation under par black ion.

I'd buy one. Those things were chain grabbers.

One devil base line town? Not that I really care about base line. Lets have the company that makes the highest end plastic out there make a crappy plastic. Guess it would be the best crappy plastic out there

Texture on both sides. top and bottom. Something like latitude sinuses grip areas or whole flight plate textured. that could be glidier than polished surface.

yeah, I tried and tried but felt as if the texture underside effected my grip more than without it.

I did play with a guy the other day who had a Lat. 64 shallow putter with two grip pads on it. Pretty cool if you ask me. I've never seen that disc before. It had a Vibram Summit type of depth to it.
