I lost a straight KC. Already have a suitable replacement in the bag.

Don't know why, just felt like minimizing molds again. I'm not totally convinced I need a Zone/Champ Harp /Gator type disc very often. And I feel like I lean on it when I have it in my bag.

I can make those shots with some care and a different disc. Champ Roc. Firebirds. Whatever. I know I need that kind of disc to save a stroke or two in windy conditions/open courses or (for some reason) Milo, where I always seem to need some utility shot out of a Zone.

I tend to have more fun, and play better mentally, when I keep it to Destroyers, Firebirds, SOFs, Rocs, Scales, and Wizards. Gazelles too, sometimes. Usually in winter, when Rocs get slippery and wet and I just can't push them as hard.

Are you throwing the Scales forehand then? I recently switched back to Wizards after a long hiatus, would not mind terribly checking out the Scale. In order to replace the Zone slot for me I would need it to forehand consistently. I don't even need it real OS, just stable and smooth.

I don't really FH Scales. They're pretty deep.

I honestly don't FH much. At all. I throw more turnovers than most folks.

But I also find that 3 Firebirds give me a pretty broad stability spectrum for everything from short super OS FH skips, etc. all the way to flip up with late fade. So having a putter I can FH isnt that important to me. I will also FH my Champ Rancho Roc for shorter stuff.

As to Scales, they aren't so much OS as dumpy and easy to range. Even my thrashed Scale, which flies dead straight from a little hyzer, sortof falls out of the air as it slows down. Super rangeable.
