Shout out to Innova and Disc Golf United for reminding me why I shouldn't buy a "swirly" Innova disc sight unseen

Yea, I dont understand why innova would release swirly thats not swirly anymore. Halo Rocs would have been a hit. Im guessing that innova has a stack of these that they made years ago and they still havent gone thru them all and they are passing them off as something new.

That is how I felt about the Jerm birds this year too. After how they seemed to fix the swirly discs this year, I was not too pleased to open up my package and see those awful earth tone swirls again. That being said, I love how the jerm birds and these swirly rocs feel. I am not a fan of rock hard discs, or champion plastic in general. I bought two of the last set of swirly star rocs as well and they are a little softer and on the flatter side. They are also pretty overstable so for me they are the perfect #1 roc. If I am throwing a roc, there is a good chance I am going to know where it lands as well so I am more ok with these being kind of blah colors than the thundies.

Why do you say these things, I dont need to buy more rocs to try and then just put on the shelf. Softish and flatish sound like great rocs.

Found a buyer for it already and went to my local brick and mortar shop to get a different one. They had just gotten a stack of 15 or so in from Innova. All but 3 were swampy greens, browns, and dull dark purples. I guess I gave Innova too much credit for their success with their Halo line. They're still more than capable of producing the worst swirl discs of any manufacturer out there.

I at least got one of the three nicer ones.
