I don't necessarily hate G Star plastic, but I don't love it either. It seems a little too gummy and for whatever reason lacks glide.

IMO Innova should keep this plastic around, but not necessarily feature all their new discs in it first.

I would always introduce new discs in regular Star first. Star is a great plastic to judge how well a mold flies.

Are Shimmer Star VRoc3s a thing people want?

Change that to R-pro and Id buy a stack. My r-pro roc+ is a killer disc on short holes and I found out about it right as it went oop.

I would definitely try a (regular) Star and/or Champion VRoc3.

I would've thought that the Star Shryke would come out after the Champ version like the Colossus did but I bet that sales were very good so they sped up the production of the Shryke in Star and Champ so that they could release them closer together instead of waiting about 2 months for Champ and then another 2 monthes for Star. I think that Innova should start making GChampion so that gummy champ discs become regular production as well as to compete with Discraft's Z Flx and Trilogy's Elasto/Fluid/Frost as GStar is more of a Snow, or ESP Flx equivalent.

Dang. The one Walmart in my area that used to stock discs stopped either last year or 14. I miss easy Pro/Dx availability.

Which Wal-Mart is this? All the Wal-Marts I've checked out only have Franklin Disc starter packs.

(Actually, I don't expect you to tell me your secret Wal-Mart source, but it's nice that you have one...)

Haha it's not a secret. One of the Acworth stores does steady about stocking Innova. Mostly junk to me, but my daughter loves 150 polecats leopards and stingrays and they usually have them.

LOL I have to go to specialty stores around here and even then the disc selection is limited except 1 place that I know of. Walmart stocking discs is like an alternate universe to me as far as brick and mortar availablity. It seems like a lot of people around here are like indoor cats tho, if anything is to hot/cold or uncomfortable they go back to the couch & tele lol.
