Using a champ and Star TERN for that slot today, but want to try something diffrent and "unusual"

Thinking of bying one HD Diamond and one Platinum . . .but which mould, Apex or Journey?
Like most DG answers...it depends. It depends on if you're looking for controlled distance vs. max distance.

The HD and Platinum Journey's are quite a bit more overstable than a regular Diamond Journey. The HD/Plat are pretty flat where as the Diamond is a bit domier. The Diamond Journey will fly a really long way because of the insane amount of glide/speed it has.

The Diamond Apex seems a smidge slower than the Journey, but it's also a little less squirrely when the wind picks up.

Myself, I prefer the Diamond Apex over any other version of the Apex or the Journey. It's super easy to control, has tons of glide and can be cycled easily as your primary distance driver if you have a slower arm speed like I do.
