Was going to say exactly this but you've got it covered. And that's why even though I throw a lot of DD, I won't throw Convicts again.

Liking the responses so far.

What about mids?

IME: Truth and Buzzz and similar, although Truth seems faster and a tick less stable. IDK a third to add to this group though, don't have the experience with others. Maybe MD3?

Ion / Challenger / KC Aviar

C-FD / C-Leo3 / ... C-Leo?

Z Crank / Champ Katana / Star Shryke (mainly thrown forehand... and of course there's so much variation in these wide-rimmed discs that it's hard to pin each mold down)

Challenger doesn't have a bead does it? I'd throw Judge or Wiz in as a replacement, otherwise I agree with ya.

Buzzz, Claymore, Fugitive, Truth (not Emac Truth). Those 4 discs are exactly the same.

Longbowman, Stag, Teebird. All stable fairway drivers.

Torrent, Nuke, Boss. All fast, stable drivers.

Yeah, when you start going 400'+ a Convict and Thunderbird don't seem like remotely the same disc. PD is longer and faster than both.

Why do more people not throw Stags? Ive had them in the bag for almost 5 years now and they are great fairway drivers.

When they are new its a 3-6 month used Star Teebird, when its 1 year in its a TL and the. It becomes a great hyzerflip disc.

Who doesnt need more reliable distance in their life?

They bomb too, Ive hit 400 with it a few times and regularly park it 380+ no problem.

I keep Teebirds as well because they are also awesome and I dont descrimiate but Stags are freaking great.

Challengers do have a bead, I've not thrown an Ion but a KC Aviar is a good comparison
