The HPP Element replaced my Z Buzzz 1 1/2 years ago. The glide on this disc is awesome! I play a lot of single disc rounds and my best scores are with the Element.

I figured with these sweet new run of diamond Elements coming out, it would be a good time to revive this thread from it's 4+ year slumber. Anyone else throwing these? I just got two in the mail the other day, and though I've only field tested them so far, I'm really liking them. They're more stable than the hpp Element I had, but still a very workable midrange. I'm loving the diamond plastic as well! Definitely a great run of the Element Gateway has going on.

The new elements are amazing.
They feature the tight radius inner rim, so the feel is much more traditional.

Flight wise I'm seeing mild turn potential and a ton of distance. I threw one 400+ downhill on a massive flex line. These babies cruise to their target.

Plastic is nails as well. Slightly flexible, flat and just amazing overall.

Loving these as well. I have been wrestling with my mid lineup the past month or so as I have been playing in the woods a lot more but am finding these pair nicely with the Lithium. I absolutely agree with you on this Diamond plastic also. Gateway has done so many great blends over the years and I think this may be one their best.

What do those numbers mean? I am sure that is not a speed 7 disc with a glide of 9

Gateway flight numbers.... No Bueno.

Basically they're the predecessor to the Truth.

5, 5, - 1, 2 type flight

Thanks.

Back when I threw sidearm, the Element-X was my main midrange. I have never thrown an Element, I may have to pick one up just to see how it flies.

I'm pressuring Dave to rerun the Element X now that he has the new mid core.

Hopefully he makes it happen.

Isn't the Karma a tweaked production version of this? I pair the Element and Karma, looks like a slightly more concave, blunt edge Element. If not it pars exceptionally well, both are great at catching some short to medium range rollers as well.
