Just a few tips. Bring pleanty of water and drinks. Its going to be a warm one. Also, you might want to invest in a stool for camping chair. There is a lot of standing around in tournaments, and its nice to have a place to sit.

Yeah, the entry fee should be cheaper for Jr.'s and being its your first I would go there. You'll probably win and then you can move up to Novice. At the same time, check your round ratings afterwards, if it is a PDGA event and that should give you a better idea of what division to play in next time depending on how bad you want to make the old guys feel.

Start in Rec. Its a more laid back division in my opinion, especially for your first tournament. I registered in Rec my first tourney too.

I just registered for my first tournament (which is on the 27th) and I signed up for Rec too. I would think that's a good idea for you too.

Or you can just be a bagger like me. And you will have to try hard to outbag me. Just ask around.

Play rec dude just to get a fell of the way things work. If you blow them out then move up. Or if your a PDGA member just play your rating, after this tourney of course.

If I want to find overall scores for past tournament, does anyone know where I should start. I looked around the PDGA site a bit and didn't see anything, suggestions?
