Default Are you buying Brodie Zones? Also Discraft/Discmania in stock

I was at the DD store yesterday and a few people came in to ask about Brodie’s Zone. I didn’t buy one. Partly because I like the Harp, and Harps are always in the misprint stack for $10.99. But I’d feel the zone up, since the store is usually out of them. Feels a little shallower than the Harp, maybe try one sometime.

BUT- this was the first time I’ve seen Discraft and Discmania mostly stocked.

Zone is a great disc, but I wouldn't pay for one with a "celebrity's" name on it.

Picked one up because I'm intrigued by Cryztal Flx on a Zone. I just want to know how it compares to my ESP. Perfectly happy that Brodie gets a couple bucks in the process, the Darkhorse logo is perfectly serviceable, and the price is a touch high but meh.

The talk in the store was that will be a standard plastic now. Unclear if they meant for the Zone itself, or in general.

$19,99 is not bad for a Cryztal Flx disc . .same price as a "base line" Luna or Fierce

Ordered one because I love Zones and I’ve never even held a Cryztal Flx disc. I hope it’s as amazing as I’ve heard. If even the slightest amount of Brodie’s glorious disc golf mastery rubs off on me, that will be pretty sweet.

I have one of the get freaky Zones. It’s good, like a flexy version of a VIP Harp. Nice, but not otherworldly.

Has there even been a stock Zone run lately? The Zone is certainly a disc that would be nice to have some less-skippy options than standard Z.

I know Z FLX is the standard run plastic that is close to a Cryztal FLX, so to see a Z FLX as a new plastic would be nice as well as Soft X the putters come in if the Zone is Soft X and not X would be nice to see again. Not for me but for others that use the Zone for an approach disc and want a disc that sits.

So here is my completely uneducated expectation of Cflx: Stable but not beefy, durable, great grip, good in cold weather, glidey, not much skip. Is that close to accurate or is that just what people say on the internets? If true, how are they different from Star apart from being a touch softer?
