Default Put me in coach!

What disc do you have, kinda like, keep hanging around, underdog favorite, but never put in bag starting team?

Mine is the squall.

Ha! I've had Squalls in my garage for years because our annual tournament is sponsored by DGA. Never touched them for 15 years.

I just started throwing them...and they are amazing!

Mine is the Wasp. The glide and non cycle due to OS and only came in Z was a factor for Wasp as well as my Z being max weight. Then my Elite X was 168 grams as it got weighed at a tournament, was between 165 and 169 grams was too light and not beefy the way a Wasp should be. They were almost, if the 173-176 gram discs were not only Z to help the fact the OS needs to work in so it is not so OS, the mold is a tad more OS then ROC in Max weight.

The other is/was the Wizard, that disc went in and out of my bag before staying out. The problem is I can only make long shots from 45-55 feet only with the mold, closer up the disc did not do as well, and last I need a big bead if I do not Use the Magnet or similar concave putters after I first tried the Wizard the mold the Wizard got dropped as a putter again after I tried it again for long putting and if I went further then ~55 feet I was going past the basket and if I was shorter the ~45 feet I was going past the basket. Basically being only in that narrow range for making putts the mold stunk for me. I know having tried my Dads taller shoulder normal Wizard thinking maybe it was the low shoulder approach only on version I had that was the problem but no, then tried the mold for driving putter and it was worse then my #2 Upshot in prostyle at 166 grams, the Wizard wanted to drop as soon as the spin visibly to the eye slowed down.

Sorry long post.

Wizards, Buzzz's and Forces.

I have enough of them to last a long time, but don't bag them.

If I had to choose one, it would be the Wiz, because I would putt and throw them if they were in the bag.

Volt and crave, they keep popping in and out, crave more these days.. Sometimes I pack it for the extra weight so I don't get weak, occasionally I throw it.

My first love the inertia is a close second... but when I have it I usually throw it.

It was the Undertaker for me for a long time until recently. I always threw my ESP Undertaker amazingly well, but didn't want to give up on the Eagles and Thunderbirds I coveted (and I didn't have a backup Undertaker available.) Recently I got an exact replica backup and put the Undertaker in the bag for good - it's 100% my go-to driver off the tee.

So these days it's my Z Buzzz. I have two that I love, but my bag only holds ten discs and it just doesn't get used much on my home course. I have a seasoned Buzzz SS that flips up and doesn't fade as much, and a Kea for wind conditions and forehand approaches.

Hmm. Probably my stack of Harps.

I used to bag the Harp and leaned on it for most of my upshots. Once I started incorporating a forehand approach into my game I struggled with the Harp a bit and moved to the Zone or Pig. I still love the Harp for backhand shots so they’ll ride the bench in case I feel nostalgic.

Leopards and a Leopard3.

Between a flippy Truth and a flippy FD, I just don’t find myself reaching for them. Before I lost it, I had a GStar leopard that was a dream disc for anhyzers. I don’t get the same flight from the Star and Champ ones I have, so they never get thrown.
