I just got my Brinsters in so haven't been able to throw them yet, but I did notice one thing. There are numbers on the helmet, and knowing that Philo's had binary that meant something, threw them into google and sure enough, they are coordinates to Warwick park, which I think is his home course. Pretty cool little detail, I thought.

I hadn't noticed the numbers that you mention before. But, upon inspection, there are tiny numbers on the helmet or head of the robot thing on the stamp of the disc.

The numbers appear to me to be 40 17 48.9 -74 23 16.6, which do appear to be the latitude and longitude coordinates 40 degrees, 17 minutes, 48.9 seconds latitude, and -74 degrees, 23 minutes, 16.6 seconds longitude. These are the coordinates of a spot in Warwick Park, NY, home of a disc golf course designed by Dan Doyle and Steve Brinster.

Good on you for noticing this.

So I ordered 12 swirly 2018 Brinsters from the factory store. They range in PLH from flat and soft to pop top and super stiff. I decided to put a stiff and slight pop top into the bag last week. I was imagining it would be beef, but wow it was even beefier than I expected. I can't speak for the flat/softer ones, but the stiff pop tops ones are grade A beef for headwinds. While the colors weren't the greatest for this batch I received, they're flying nice.

got some blank top lightweights on order.

just couldn't bring myself to throw the philo's. the flat top had me concerned they just wouldn't be superior to the first run.

unofficially they are in the collectible bin and will never be thrown. especially since they are unofficially the first run glows.

the brinsters sound so nice. problem is I will never throw them. my requirements for in the bag pd2's or destroyer's are either a less stable run or they are lightweight.

the heavy stable runs are just too much for both my older shoulder and ideal distance goal.

I got unbelievable lucky and found a like new Phil 168 in the used bin at the local disc store. It is the destroyer I was looking for. It bombs like the destroyers I have heard about.
