Default North Wood County Park Wisconsin becoming pay to play

I finally got out NWCP DGC yesterday and paid for my season pass, I'm not sure if the locals are upset about it becoming a pay to play course or not but I thought the pricing was reasonable.

$4.00/ per day
$20.00/ per individual for the season
$40.00/ per family for the season

I personally like pay to play courses and after investing well over a thousand dollars in my equipment even the $40.00 pass is reasonable in my opinion, granted I try to play there as often as I can.

I have no problem with pay to play as long as at least some of the money goes back towards course maintenance/improvements.

Four dollars a day for North Wood? I can't imagine that course has improved enough since my last visit there, which is roughly six years ago. I would rather drive to the Big Eau Plaine or Standing Rocks and pay for a quality course.

Yeah... I just saw that Bird's Ruin is Pay2Play now as well. I think this is unfortunately going to spread throughout the entire state. It's a shame.

I'm cool with P2P. Keeps the chuckers on the chucker courses.

North Wood is a fine little course, for what/where it is. I enjoyed it very much and would probably pay the yearly fee if I lived close and played it enough.
