Default KC Pro Aviar vs. Judge

I am looking to get either a KC Pro Aviar or a Judge, but I am not sure which one I want exactly. Try to persuade me to pick your side!

KC is deeper, judge is shallower. KC is very stiff. Judge feels better in my small hand.

I have nothing bad to say about either.

They're putters. You should base your decision on personal feel not what the brand loyalists of us have to say. Buy one of each and compare. Then buy a stack of the one you choose.

Judge is going to be grippier. KC will be smoother, some will be a touch stiffer but not by much. KC is deeper and the Judge's bead is wider. Judge is flatter and comes in the soft plastic as well.

Classic judge is extremely similar in stiffness to a kc aviar. A kc aviar is significantly more overstable and a little higher profile. The judge will glide more and be more forgiving even inside the circle. A kc aviar might be just what you want to improve your putting because it will force you to fully commit and release it flat and with plenty of speed or you will be hitting the cage or chaining out to the left a lot because it will drop and fade quicker.

If money is a concern you might be better off looking for good deals (seconds/x-outs, pond specials, etc) rather than being picky about the specific putter you want. Magnet, aviar, judge, wizard, it's all the same if you park close enough.

Anyone who regularly practices with two $5 putters is easily going to stomp the brutal bleeding hell out of a competitor who spends $100 on putters but doesn't practice.
