Funny how people are demanding that Innova stop selling one of its most popular discs. That doesn't mean it's a good one. I'm sure the people who buy Grooves would benefit from throwing just about anything else. But, thanks to big box stores and clueless bros, the Groove is a cash cow for Innova.

You're making what I think is a circular argument. The Groove is not popular by any means. It's in big box stores because they don't know any better when they order, and that family of four that wants to play casually on a weekend doesn't know any better buys them because that is what is on the shelf (and maybe little else). If that is what you want to call 'popular', have at it, but it's an inappropriate use of the word, IMHO.

Cash cow? I dunno, maybe you have some data that shows that. IMHO, Innova went wild and made too many Grooves in a run, and those are now being sent to big box stores. Is Innova making new runs of the Groove? (and for that matter, the Monarch?) Or are they just trying to get rid of the Grooves they've already made?

By the way, the Academy store near me brought in more Discraft and more Dynamic Discs especially DD starter packs... and Grooves collect dust on the shelf. Hmmm.... wonder if there is a cause and effect there...

Was that some kind of disco dance in the 1970s?

Seriously, I don't recall there being a Groove in Star plastic. Innova may have realized the disaster after one run of Champion, and stopped digging the hole to make it deeper...

Still think McBeth should pull the ultimate troll move and make the Flydye Champ Groove his next sig disc (and throw it well to shut everybody up).

Just think about the royalties....

They made EchoStar Grooves.

SD why didn't you know that?

Thought you were the expert on Grooves in here.

By the way there's been more than one run of Champ Grooves.
