I know have basically no activity here so everyone assumes Im a 790 rated player but Im not. I am a 900 rated player. I understand what I am doing. I am not forcing anything. At a flat release with a tern im getting a little high speed turn and tons of fade. I want a little less stable. A mamba at 90 percent power is a meathook right and at full power a roller.

Yep, the Tern shouldn't show much turnover at under 330 feet when thrown properly, though it can be a decent stable driver with that arm speed.

EDIT: What exactly is "meathook right?" Are you left or right handed?

I've actually had good results with Gstar Mambas as a hyzer flip bomber, with caveats -- here in Atl we're about 1000' above sea level (discs fly more stable), and winds are usually dead calm in the summer. On windy days I won't even bag it. When I've traveled to areas like CT, PA, FL etc. which are at lower elevation, it's ridiculously understable.

I've got a 159g gummy champ Tern that's been beaten in just right and is my longest, most predictable and most workable driver. So in addition to the discing down suggestion, I'd say don't give up on Terns. They're an excellent mold imo.

I love my tern, no intention on getting rid of it. just want something else similar speed with a touch less stability.

Renegade then. BTW, how'd you lose your first Renegade? Way off to the right?

Also I'd suggest a mid 160's King. Ignore the flight numbers, it's not nearly a 4 fade, it's more like a faster, glidier slightly less stable Tern IME.

All in good fun, just kidding around. Good luck with whichever disc you decide on.

sounds like someone needs a Star Sidewinder. MOLS will do as well, but it'll probably fade like your Tern @ ~320ft power.

I have the same power as you a Valkyrie is my max D disc. I have seen big arms bomb it over 425 on a hyzer flip if it can handle their power it should handle yours. If the Valkyrie is to flippy maybe a Viking? PD, thunderbird just don't underestimate the distance potential of the speed 9 class.
