When the Buzzz was first created it was a modified Wasp mold. They took some mold pieces of the Wasp and tweaked some things and created the Buzzz. The inner rim still said WASP on it because that piece was reused from the Wasp. Eventually the Buzzz got its own mold pieces and the inner rim changed to say BUZZZ.

So the early run Buzzzes have WASP on the inner rim, and for the 10th anniversary Discraft molded Buzzzes again using that Wasp mold piece so the tooling inside says WASP.

I find the anniversary Buzzzes to be more stable than a standard Z Buzzz. They are also made in a plastic eerily similar in feel and appearance to Discraft's "Big Z" blend.

Any idea on the value of a 10/10 10 Year Buzzz?

I think it depends heavily on color/stamp color/buyer/weight.. But if I'm not mistaken (which I could easily be) they're in the $30 range.

Well, discgolfcenter.com has a bunch for $30-$40. I just bought a few from a local vendor for $30 each.

Yeah, the value on these depends a lot on the color of the disc, color of the foil, and the stamp itself. The odd colors or transitionals are worth more. There weren't too many foils that transitioned between colors so any type of rainbow foil would be worth more. There were a few limited releases where a small bee stamp was added to the regular 10 year stamp and those seem to bring a premium as well (not sure why, I think it looks like an x-out).

If you just have a common blue/orange/pink/green color with a plain stamp I'd say $25-30. If it's a more rare color like the opaque purple/blue or the big bee ghost stamp glow or a flag dye then probably $30-35. Midnight Z 10 years go for $40-50 depending on the buyer/number. The more unique color combos like almost white Buzzzes with rainbow stamps or smoke colors can fetch up to $100 if not more.

Another thread that displays how behind the times I am. I'll spend $30 on a backup for my 2nd 1st Run Z Buzzz. These should be pretty much the same. I figured I was screwed if I ever lost it.

Isn't the Wasp text different on the 10 Years?
