I could easily swap the Leo and Tbird for the Gstar TL3 and a new Star. I just wanted to throw a Teebird again. Ill probably switch back. The T Im carrying is the Orange 12x I used to bag.

The 11 slots other than the 3 Omegas could be covered by lots of different discs. The 3 Omegas slot could be covered by plenty of different Omegas.

So the 14 discs didn’t last long. Moday’s round was marred by my pulling putts left.
Rockland red: 4,3,3,4,4,2,5,3,3,2,3,3,4,3,3,3,2,3 58

I dropped one little Magic and put in 2 max weight Q Omegas for putting. I left one little Magic in for my finesse throwing, approaching and longer distance putter.

Yesterday’s round, Rockland blues:
3,3,4,4,4,3,4,2,3,3,3,3,2,4,5,4,3,4 62
The 2 putts I missed were high off the number plate.

Today Rockland reds:
4,3,3,3,3,2,4,2,2,3,2,3,2,4,3,2,3 51
I putted with confidence and the one miss was a cut through.

Looks like 15 discs is what I need.

WEW 51 is cooking pretty good there. Did you start on 10 or 1?

Ive got to start thinking about my bag for VTI this year. Its gonna have more than 15 discs. Ill be carrying the Grip BX. There is enough water at Lake Marshall to require backups in case of lost discs. Ill probably be doubling up on some drivers, fairways and mids. Ill still be rocking 4 Omegas more than likely.

You're gonna need some extra Destros or the more hipster-approved Scorps if you're playing Lake Marshall.

Probably some Star Wraiths as well as some fairways and mids too. Ive played two Laurels events there and one practice round and can only recall dunking one disc irretrievably. I dont know what the VTI layout will be but Im sure there will be plenty of dangerous water carries. Ill probably pad the bag up to 20-ish discs.

If you have played more than one Laurels event then I think you have played all the water holes but one and that one is the shortest/easiest of all of them. We will play The Lair and however many holes of Lions are usable which will be either 11 or 15. (If it is wet leading up to it then it will be 11.)

I assume well play the island hole, the off island hole, the hole which plays across the lake and up the hill, and also the two double cove water carries? Its been nearly 3 years (I think) since Ive been there.

yep- plus the 280 downhill across water the whole way (14 lair) and the new one which is only maybe 220 across (eventually 5 lions).
