Hyzerflip a beat-ass OLF. Clean it up with a Wiz.

Ooo baby! My old home course.

I played firebird forehand to firebird forehand roller or backhand skip shot depending on the approach angle. It bends WAY back to the right at the end. I lost a playoff to Phil Arthur on this hole in 2007 or so.

The tee sign is very miss leading. The long pin position is way back there and is this hole is a par 4 by today's standards. Getting a 3 on this hole feels really really good. Two fantastic shots are required to get anywhere near the pin. The hole is shaped more like an S than the simple little curve the sign gives it.

My usual approach to this hole is hyzer flip to slight hyzer a sidewinder and have it drift as long as it can around the first corner. Then forehand something really overstable and pray for a sweet skip towards the basket. Three'd it last time I was there .

Love this hole, love this course. Its first 7 or so holes will eat your lunch if you aren't careful.

BH Leo3 -> FH Thunderbird -> Wizard approach -> Wizard putt

no kidding if your if your less then 5 strokes over par after the first six holes you got a good round going.

Forehand something with a stable finish. If tight right then its a lefty roller around the second corner. Center cut skipshot around the corner.

As a local guy who plays this course all the time/ doubles etc.

Hole 3 is now officially on file with the PDGA as a Par 4- and a 4 feels like a good score here- a chance at a 3 is rare, even in doubles

What I do?

off the tee, Throw a Convict straight at the large wooden structure and hope it fades left into the fairway

ForeHand skip upshot around a sharp dogleg right with a Felon,

Putt with a Pure and Hope you can make a long putt
