Depends on the discs. Opto for my Rivers, GL for my fuses. My tridents are a mixture of both, the GL is like a slightly beat Opto Trident. The Opto vs. GL is the only plastic that I have found the be consistently more understable(GL) than it's counter part(Opto).

Depends a little on the disc

havoc - GL
Striker - opto but I carry a beat GL for really straight to understable low line shots.
River - opto

it depends on the disc. i like my trident in opto, but my havoc, river and flow in gold line. For me opto seems a little more grippy. all in all both plastics are great, and super durable. opto plastic does seem to be a little more stable.

I have to agree that it depends on the disc, but overall I prefer the gold line. I can throw some very predictable and stable lines with my GL Strikers. I haven't used much else besides a few opto rivers, tridents, and riots. I recently purchased a GL Havoc but haven't tossed it yet. I also have quite a few lat 64 throwers coming my way (trades) including a bolt, a riot, and a halo. I am looking forward to my next spare moment that I can get in a round.

The havoc is a super realiable, predictable disc. Its been that way for me anyway. Gold line plastic is money. Best looking too IMHO.

The opto flow seems to have larger domes and are more overstable. (I have a 2 light blues, clear, opaque pink, pink and all have close to the same dome). My Gls are all yellows and blues and are all flatish and more understable then the optos.

Cheer - Koffee
