Agreed. Could be many different or combined factors. One thing I noticed on video yesterday was that I was opening up my head and shoulders too soon. When you think about it, when I accidentally hang on to the disc longer and throw right, my head and shoulders are no longer opening too soon according to the direction I'm throwing. Thus it makes sense I would get a stronger pull and rip to the right. I read people saying they try a new tweak to their form and it adds 30-50 feet. I read something and then go out to the field thinking this is the thing that will add 30 feet. Ha! It never happens. A few feet here, a few feet there, then a few feet backwards. Over months and years it gradually gets better.

Take a old golf club and try throwing it RHBH and see what it does. If it goes right, you have answers.

Check this out for more info on a possible solution/ causes.

Default In the mean time....

While I'm looking at all the links could I get some video feedback? Ignore my original question and just give overall analysis. I've been throwing only putters for a month to try to improve form. Still at 150-170 for a putter. I did a few hammer drill sessions to try to stay closed longer. Not feeling much difference. Thanks! (getting frustrated )

You're in an open stance, i.e. your toes point outwards.

Your're hugging yourself, i.e. your shoulder joint is not at 90.

Try to throw by hip rotation, not with your arm, see this post: https://www.dgcoursereview.com/forum...69#post3490769

See this video for the way your disc moves during run-up: https://youtu.be/q9e_lEs7ASE

IMO you should omit the run-up and focus on the toe direction (much easier with a standstill, because it's done before you start with the motion and not within) and then mainly about the hip rotation (this is where you actually generate power). The disc movement in the throw preparation will automatically be better with a standstill.

If you have a distance disc that ALWAYS finishes right rhbh, start releasing it on a hyzerflip angle so she can flip up flat and change your life for the better
