Probably because the Mace is a horrible replacement.

Found two embossed Rocs, nice gradual dome, no drum, plastic felt good. I bought them. No nose spacer. Where did that come from?

George was in good spirits, we chatted about Rocs for a bit. He offered to ship Rocs to me whenever I needed them since no place local to me sells Innova anymore. I avoided the offer; George is such a good player that I felt ridiculous telling him that I was too picky about my Roc's to let him pick them out for me.

The Feldberg guy didn't want to talk about Rocs.
how is that possible?

You know, you get old, your body breaks down, all of a sudden things start to hurt and you don't know why, they stick you in an MRI tube and Boom! Blown disc. Old people stuff. You will play one day.

Every time I find a 6/10 KC Pro Roc at PIAS, I do a happy dance. Congrats on finding the best disc in the game!

DX Rocs break in fast and are cheap. If you want one that doesn't carry quite as far, get a flat-top or just flat-top it yourself. In my bag, I've got a 7/10 2006 Eye Roc for the beef, 5/10 FT DX that goes dead straight and still fades at the end, 6/10 KC Pro that's just straight with a tiny fade, and a 6/10 DX that's my turnover mid.

How much does dome affect the stability? Is weight a big factor in flight, for this mold?
I’ll definitely grab a dx, maybe a fresh kcpro to beat in as well.

I have a flat top gstar roc3 that doesn’t glide worth a damn, a lot less stable than my domey vroc3 as well.

For Rocs, the flatter they are the less stable they are IME.. My most stable ones have a dome to them. You do give up glide with the flat-tops.

G*Roc3 should not even be considered in the Roc family, IMO. Maybe the slightly off neighbor (think Kimmie, on Full House)

I live too close to Emporia KS. Buncha crazy stuff going on in people's heads around here. They spend all their time talking about Truths and Verdicts and a bunch of other not-a-Roc junk they seem to like to throw. Either crazy or dumb, take your pick.
