Default Heavy Critters Ever Changing Grip Bag Extravaganza

Years playing/experience: On and off for 15 years. Seriously again for 3 yrs.
Right/left-handed/ambidextrous: Righty
Throwing Style: RHBH (primary), RHFH
Golf Distance (avg/max) - 275'/300'
Age: 41
Sex: M
Injuries/handicaps?: None
Other sport proficiencies?: Pocket Pool
Additional Information: Rediscovering my drive. Starting to practice thumbers/tomahawks
What do you like/dislike about your current bag?: Like - With the exception of my RHFH Force's, all speed 9 or under. Dislike - not confident with the Leopard but it's still bagged.

PUTTERS:
Ion - Main putter for now. Had some 'blow through' issues.
Soft Judge - Just picked up. Feels good in the hand.

MIDS:
X Comet - Form checker / Floater shots
2 - Z Buzzz - Main Mid. Love the Buzzz.
Z Wasp - Windy Buzzz shots / Hard fade skip shots off icy ground

FAIRWAY:
Star Leopard - Rarely used. Not comfy with it yet.
Star Teeb - Domey. Fairway shots under 250'.
Champ Teeb - Windy fairway shots under 250'
Proton Volt - Meat hooky wind shots (use as main driver in this case as well).

DRIVERS:
Champ Sidewinder - Long turnover shots
Champ Valkyrie - I typically always have a Valk in my bag.
2 - Champ Viking - Main distance driver
2 - PFN Champ Viking - FLAT. Light headwinds or harder fade shots
2 - ESP Force - Forehand shot all the way (hit an ace this past weekend)

I'm a big fan of the DX Leopard. Curves nicely to the right and if u like them in 150 class, u can always find plenty of backups for $4 a pop at PIAS heh. People are always trading in those discs from the starter set. I may snag a couple more like that sometime soon

Putters: Big bead putters are all really similar, but base plastic grabs the chains better than Ions. I felt robbed a lot when I used them.

Mids: Comets are great. I think Comets and Rocs go together like Fuses and Buzzes. The rims/domes are a lot closer in feel. I dunno if you've check those out or even care about that.

Leopard - At 275/300, a star Leo is a pretty straight disc with fade. I know I've parked a 280' hole on a hyzer line w/about 330' in power with mine and it didn't turn at all. Pro Leonards are the best Leonards, I carry 2x Pro and a DX.

Distance - I'm a big Viking fan, the current run domey ones start out pretty stable and season well in Champ (over a year or so of use). Between those and the SWs, where does the Valk fit in there? Not that it's really mucking up the works, they're all pretty similar rims. I actually just picked up my first Valk in ...3 years? I have thrown it a couple times, but I haven't thrown it well yet.

Yep, the reason I'm trying out the soft Judge. So far so good.

I actually picked up a Coyote at PIAS yesterday, so I'm going to give that a whirl in place of my Buzzzes. Just for fun. I used to throw Rocs, but liked the laser beam straightness of the Buzzz.

Everyone tells me how great the Leopard is. I just can't get a feel for it.

Distance - I'm a big Viking fan, the current run domey ones start out pretty stable and season well in Champ (over a year or so of use). Between those and the SWs, where does the Valk fit in there? I think you and I are in an arm race for Vikings, LOL. I see you pop up in the MP all of the time.

I have four Vikings in the bag. 2 current runs for normal drives, 2 PFN for windier drives or when I want a bit more fade at the end.

The Valk is sort of a tweener disc. I use it for open tailwind S shots mostly. I've just had a Valk in my bag since I started playing again, so it's more of a comfort thing. It's a "turnier" Viking if that makes sense.

Sidewinder is mostly for flex shots and in the woods (as needed).

Response in BOLD above.

I picked up a soft Judge last week. (black w/rainbow stamp, very sexy. pic in my bag thread) and this week I picked up 2 Blend Judges. Really like how these feel. My 2 Classic Hard Judges feel great, but are still softer than my ZH Pures, which feel like they are made of steel I need to post pix of those new Judges tho, white w/green sparkle and pink w/red sparkle. I asked my girls to help me pick between 3 and each picked one of them. So I said screw it and bought both I loved the Judge when I was throwing it last year, but had crazy rollaway issues. Hoping the Soft and Blends help w/that.

Haha, I'm more than set on Vikings now, they're all yours! One of my first ones had a bit of a high plh and is a great turnover/roller - similar to a fresh Roadrunner.

Hahaha this made me laugh. Oh, this is a proficiency I know all too well .

I wanted to say that I thought it was a little strange you use your Teebirds for shots under 250'. I know we all can't throw the same distances but I think 250+ would be the better range for your Teebird. You should try using a mid for shots less than 250' and see how that works. The Buzzz especially is a good driving mid.

Can I ask where you got those Cryztal discs? I have never seen one in real life so I guess I'd have to go on Ebay if I really want one. I was just curious because it seems like they are exclusive to tourneys and things like that.
