Default Your height, wingspan, etc.

I noticed on the Team Innova profiles they list players' height and wingspan.

The great Ken Climo is listed as 6'2.5" with an nba-like 6'8" wingspan.

But then you have the amazing 61-year-old Dr. Rick Voakes, who is playing a high level at only 5'8" with only a 5'8" wingspan.

Certainly, balance, strength, coordination, aiming ability, concentration ability, etc. are the most important characteristics for excelling at DG. BUT, if you have all of these things AND long arms or height, are you at a greater advantage for longer drives or easier finesse shots around obstacles?

Just for the record, these are my stats:

6'2.5" height

6'3.5" wingspan

I can't throw very far, but I can often get out of a jam with shots that involve leaning sideways.

Anybody else know their wingspan/height and/or have an opinion on how this affects the ability of a Disc Golfer?

Usually, your wingspan matches your height...

but then, I know I am just 6' tall and my wing span is 6'2", that and my long toes and I think I am the missing link.

Where did you throw discus? I just noticed your location. I played basketball at Kempsville for one season way back in the 80's. It was considered a bunch of "preps"/surfers/skaters back then. I hear it's changed.
