Default New courses in STL

St Louis has been blowing up with new courses over the past couple years. And these are not crappy 9ers either. These are nice 18 hole tournament capable courses.

Just this year these courses have been installed
- Indian Camp Creek 18 holes
- Fort Zumwalt 18 holes
- Wilmore Park 18 holes (1st course in St. Louis city limits)

Logan College in Chesterfield should be open in the next couple of weeks (according to Gateway's website) 18 holes

Sioux Passage is adding another 18 and hopefully will be open by the club championships in october.

Courses opened last year
- Carrollton 18 holes
- Piasa Harbor 9 holes
- Horner Park 18 holes
- Dunegant 18 holes
- Deer Creek 18 holes
- Crystal City Underground 18 holes currently

carrollton is a great course.

ICC may become one of my new favorites though. two sets of concrete tees and full color tee signs at both tee boxes is awesome!! also brand new orange mach III baskets is a nice touch.

I hope to take a road trip one day to visit the Gateway Temple, and play one or two nearby courses. Which ones should I hit if I can only choose a few?

It's a very good time to be from(or near) STL! The 'lou is quickly becoming a top DG destination, and could very well host worlds one day. Not to mention we have an outstanding DG club to keep things tidy and thriving!

I would recommend either Sioux Passage, Jefferson Barracks, or Endicott. Those are the "classic" STL courses IMO. But Dunegant is a real gem and definitely worth checking out, very unique course. Willmore is also a great course. Not a huge fan of Carrollton, but a lot of people like it.

Sounds like a plan. Now I just need to convince my wife into taking a road trip one weekend. That part should be much easier than convincing her that I need at least $100 spending money at Gateway.

Zumwalt is 2 mins from my house NEW HOME COURSE!!

Also Dave Mac says that he's designing a course at Logan college in chesterfield that will rival any of his previous designs.
