Default 1999 Waco Annual Charity Open Wedge

photo (1).jpgI found this disc at a second hand store. I picked it up because it was really tacky feeling and its excellent condition for a disc from 1999. I want to say it is CE plastic but i'm not positive. Can anyone give me more information on this disc so that I know what to do with it.

Well, since it's Discraft I'm gonna go ahead and say it's not CE. I would guess Elite X

Are you saying this is a Wedge?
Innova makes the wedge and clearly that disc is stamped Elite X.

And if it is Innova, I would say it's SE, because CE I believe didn't come out until 2000

Turn it over and take another picture if you are needing more info.

Looks like a fairway driver...and when I say fairway driver I do not mean a Discmania FD...

maybe the OP used the term "wedge" as a generic term for midrange or approach..

Guys, Look at the stamp more closely, easy to understand why he thought it was a Wedge, seeing as it says "WEDGE" in the diamond pattern just below the "1999".

He reads that, makes the connection to the Innova Wedge, and viola- We have a thread.

Honest mistake, so quit giving the guy such a hard time.

Plastic does look pretty finger printy / tacky just from that pic. That's for sure.

I know that tournament, my home town is Waco, TX. You should check here: http://wacodga.com/

The Waco Disc Golf Association is pretty well organized and they have their own message boards. One of those guys may remember what the disc was from the 1999 open.
