Default A Return To Disc Golf, After a 3 Year Hiatus.

It has been a very long time since I've been here or posted anything at all since 2010. I was extremely into disc golf at the time and have only been able to go a hand full of times each summer since. It became very hard when I started working full time 40+ hours a week and also going to school full time.
That journey is almost at an end and I should be done with school and graduated by next winter.
You may ask why I decided to come back now even though I am still incredibly busy, and in the middle of winter no less... Well, I just recently moved and while I was moving I came across all of my stacks of discs and my bag and it made me really miss this game. I decided then that this coming spring I am going to play at least once a week hopefully more even though I won't be able to join a league due to my schedule right now.
Anyway, I'ts been such a long time since I've been on the scene I am curious about what all the new coolest discs, and other accessories are. When I stopped playing like crazy the Katana was just coming out and i never got a chance to throw it.
So... What are all of your favorite modern discs?

Mvp and prodigy are two quickly growing companies with many popular molds.

Blizzard and air plastics are interesting. Latitude 64s gold and opto plastics are they best.

PD is still one of the best discs they make. They're just a bit overshadowed by the newer big name companies right now (Legacy, Prodigy).

Though I've never thrown it, the Discmania FD is supposed to be a very nice stable fairway driver - Cs for wind resistance and Ss for turnovers.

A brief synopsis on the newer companies:

- MVP: Great for control and precision. I love their mids in tight quarters, especially the Tangent. No base plastic.

- Latitude 64/Westside: Tons of glide, netting you an extra bit of distance. Known to be a bit finickier than other companies, though I don't notice at this point. Discs generally fly more understable than the flight numbers indicate, but if you know that going in, they have a ton of quality molds. The River and the Pro Saint are two of their most-hyped discs. People love the Pure as a driving putter.

- Vibram: Unique rubber-based compound makes their discs extremely durable. Their Soft is beyond floppy. I love their putters - great grip and will last literally forever. Ridge is comparable to a Wizard and the VP to a Rhyno. The Lace is a well-liked distance driver, too.

Don't forget Legacy. The Patriot, Rival, Ghost, Rampage and Cannon are all awesome new discs.
