That is a good point, yes some discs are either a PTA to run in some plastics. Now to avoid even mentioning the KC plastic Rhyno is sad, even if it would sorry no plans for the KC plastic Rhyno. XT just from how different it feels in the store, sounds like a plastic that could be a PTA for most of the discs they run the plastic in already.

I would like to see a Ryhno in, well I would like to see the old 2000's not stiff pro make a comeback. I blame the needs and wants of the top Innova pros. XT is close but it is still way stiffer then the old Pro from 2000's that was gone in stores by 2013-2014 winter.

I occasionally bag the Rhyno in beat up DX and find that they fly so stable, without any skip anyway, that I would not seek out R or KC. In fact, it seems like champion rhynos don't fly much differently - maybe a hair more LSS but nothing approaching the nasty fade of a harp or zone.

As recently as last year, some Ontario Rhynos have popped up in stores that are stamped R-Pro. I'm pretty sure are the old soft pro material that was run back when the Ontario mold was still in production. Old stock/new stamp type situation.

Just something to look out for next time you're digging through stacks of plastic at a brick & mortar.

With regards to XT:
Have you tried the stiff pro Rhynos that were run a few years back? They are typically double-stamped with the Factory Store logo in one color and a PFN pro Rhyno stamp in a different color. Those are stiff and grippy, not quite like XT but pretty close. I see a bunch for sale on eBay. They are a bit pricey IMO, but readily available.

No surprise. The HL Leo3 is an awesome disc. Feels and throws great. I just wish I'd gotten two instead of one...

No I have not. I do not use Ryhno's, my dad does. I just remember the old Pro Plastic, having a last of a old Pro Shark from 2014. I want the old pro plastic for the Discs. that was a plastic like the R-Pro but it was more firm like a Star Plastic not as variable as R-Pro has been. R-Pro is supposed to be like Lighting Prostyle plastic. R-Pro is not what I want for discs I want the old Pro for all discs as it was like the feel of R-Pro but not as variable a plastic. R-Pro for the Rhyno is like the old soft Pro for the Ryhno I have felt that.

XT: I know there is a Stiff Pro but they want the non glossy Pro. That is the only thing with Pro/R-Pro is that the disc is glossy and for some players that is not what they want. I find as the disc breaks in or Set it in the sun all day on a hot summer day the Pro/old Pro gets grip being nice and tacky in the hand. I did the second as well as have the disc brake in with my old Pro Shark and it went tacky.

I want a R-Pro that molds up better is not, Floppy on one disc and Rubbery bounce on another. Is that so much to ask? I felt a R-Pro Aviar P&A and one disc was rubbery with bounce and the other was more floppy. Now for R-Pro Ryhnos they almost all go a tad Floppy like the old Pro Rhyno and that is a good thing. However the Aviar was a bad example as I can find in Sponsored plastic an Aviar that would work for me.
