Aim is right about the Circuit discs. They were made for throwers like us. You are really going to enjoy the Signal, and Matrix. I haven't picked up a Spin yet, but I'm sure it is a great understable putter.

You will need a couple of drivers to complement the Signal. The Fission Volt would provide you with a workhorse driver, and it's easy throwing and straight flight should suit you well. And for overstable needs, I'd go with a lightweight Resistor. It has decent glide for a beefy disc, and powers down well for midrange work, too.

For maximum distance, I can't NOT suggest the Orbital. It is MVP's easiest disc to throw far, period. I only have a max weight one, so I don't know how a 150's would handle. It might be a bit squirrely. If you like hyzer flipping, this one is for you.

Let us know a little bit more on how you throw, and what you currently bag.

I DO love to hyzer flip and, coincidentally, I ordered an Orbital this week.

Ok, you posted as I did. I still think the F Volt and light Resistor would be great to add to the Circuit discs. And even though the Orbital is faster than you normally throw, a 150's could net you effortless D.

Edit: stop posting when I'm posting.

Awesome that you picked up the Orbital. I think you'll love it.

Question: Why the F Volt over the Relay? (IIRC, you're bagging a Relay right now)

Halcon- Have you tried a sub 145g fission tesla? I throw one as my US control driver for max D in tailwinds. Stupid easy to throw far' i like the orbital for what it is but different kind of disc being so fast.

Loving my OS to US tesla setup along with photons. I personally wouldnt consider a fision volt at this point. Its a great stable driver but doubt you will need it. If anything a reg volt could just be your OS control driver.

Well, you mentioned you want 5 discs. The Relay and Signal are going to get some overlap, so for a small bag, you're going to want something more stable. The Volt is longer, and more versatile on hyzers, and FH, if you ever threw those.

But the Relay is a heck of a disc, and if you mostly want straight shots it could be right up your alley. Like the Signal, and Orbital, it also has great glide and is easy to throw.

You could go:

Orbital, max D
F Volt, longer stable drives
Resistor, utility, any overstable needs
Relay, straight
Signal, understable, super easy to throw
Matrix, versatile midrange
Spin, putter (for now, to see if you like it)

So that's 7 discs, and pretty much all you would ever need for a small MVP bag. If you got them all in lighter weights I think it would be more beneficial to your arm.

I have a tester F Tesla, but I forget the weight. I think it's in the 150's. I actually bag a 150's LE Tesla and it my go-to for stable drives and long hyzer approaches. That's also not a bad option.

I had no idea that MVP was releasing new stuff, so this gorgeous disc was an awesome surprise last night. I didn't know what it was until I flipped it over to see the tooling. Any guesses? (Or do you guys already know more than me?)

That is an awesome stamp. I would buy that purely based on the strength of that stamp!

I won't keep you in suspense any longer. It's an Octane. In sick, super sparkle, pics don't do it justice, grippy, Proton.

I don't now if other discs will have this stamp or what, but gosh dang are they making sweet stuff these days.

Edit: I also got an Energy, in Neutron. I might post some pics later vs. the Phase. The Energy has the typical Resistor/Phase type wing, so it's going to be stupid overstable.
