Default Gator haters and Roc jocks

So every since my buddy put me on the Gator I have banged more flick upshots, got out of more crappy situations(I swear it seems like they chomp their way through sometimes) and added a pretty much guarantee look at a putt under 200' if there is any sort of flick line for the upshot. LOVE'em! They hold up in almost any wind, and of all the star gator's I have thrown(until the most recent one) they dont really want to skip too bad unless you land with alot of spin on hyzer. I play alot in the mountains and love courses with elevation change. Most courses have a downhill ace run where going long is not an option. I throw these things as hard as I want and they drop perfectly (ill pull out the comet for those big downhill bombs ). They really have alot of good qualities, especailly for all you other flicker's out there. I guess the main reason Im creating this is to ask why I dont see more gators on the course lol and to see if anybody can help me with this most recent star gator I bought. Thought I was getting one hella of a deal when I seen this guy in the used bin at Play it Again for 11 bucks, and upon first throw it hooked hard right like all the other gators do. But, not only does this guy whistle when you really snap it but it also wobbles. I still get the distance out of it, its crazy, but even if I super smooth a flick it will still try and wobble a bit. Any ideas of why my gator is sickly? I hope it is still PDGA legal..

A lot of people do throw gators. Ive given them a shot but am satisfied with my Zone, Roc, Drone configuration.

I would have to say less stable (Drone) but much more glide. Mind you, I only have Champ Gators and I've been told the Star version is not as stable. I throw the Drone and the Gator, because of the diff. in distance between the two discs.
The Gator has gotten me out of more trouble than my lawyer I love that disc!

To the OP, have you been using beaded/beadless star gators and maybe got the opposite one in the used bin? It will still be PDGA legal unless it has a crack in it or something else super noticeable that I'm sure you wouldn't overlook too easily.

I love rocs and I love gators, they both have their uses though.

I use a Zone because I hate beads.
