Default Most underrated / Most overrated Discs?

I saw this somewhere else and figured Id ask here. Just curious as I like being different. Plus being a noob its nice to find some of those diamonds in the rough that arent as popular for deals and what to avoid.

Plus debates like this are always interesting for everyone plus it opens people up to new things. Sorry as a noob I don't have anything to add. Ill just watch

Be prepared to get a LOT of different opinions (and that's just what they'll be - opinions).

And if your question was more of the i.e., "What are underrated / overrated discs that are intended to do be meathooks" it might have narrowed down the 'choices' somewhat (that you'll have to filter through) as now you'll get varying opinions on a multitude of disc 'classes' / 'uses'.

You mean like discs that were supposed to be bad but are good?

I was expecting a wide range of opinions.

Overrated: Buzzz, even if it is a great disc, it isn't THE disc, I don't think.

Underrated: Either Wraith or Valkyrie. Both such amazing discs that I merely seemed to stumble into the greatness of because they're not discussed at the length of the Buzzz, Groove, or Roc.

Of course, this is purely objective.

That's a tough one. Most of the opinions on discs that I see are on here, and the main ones (Buzzz, River, Teebird, Pure, Fuse, Leopard, Ion, Wizard) have all earned the right to be gushed over. I haven't thrown anything recommended here that failed to do what it claimed to do. Some of them have taken longer to dial in than others, but every one of them has earned a lasting place in the bag once I learned it (except the Wizard, because I don't need a 5th putter).

Underrated? Probably something like a Gazelle.

Overrated: The Roc. I know I'm gonna catch it for this, but I've just never understood what the big deal is. People are fanatical about these things (and Buzzzs which are also overrated).
Underrated: The Shark. I no longer throw one, but this disc was my favorite when I was first learning to play.

I think maybe its because they are dead in the middle of the fight chart and easy to throw. For all intents and purposes they should do what you tell them and let you know when you do something wrong.

Just a noobs observation though
