Also, go out just after sunset and look at the discs in your bag. See those ones that look like they are glowing? Use only those. Often, you can see the glow through the snow. Carry a UV flashlight to help them glow.
That’s what I’ve been doing the last two days. Dayglo yellow pink and orange

No, no, it's great advice. Moving south is a great answer for not losing discs in the snow because when it snows here the roads are impassable and you can't even get to the disc golf course!

My winter bag is mostly dark colored or black discs, with ribbons on the bottom.

I agree with the mention of trying not to play solo. No lost discs!

SNow golf is fun... sometimes. A couple years ago we had an ice storm followed up by several inches of snow. When the discs dug in, they would slide quite a ways under the snow cover. One of them we finally found at least 30ft away from the entry mark...

I am planning to play in the snow for the first time this year. All previous years I avoided it, but 2018 the disc golf bug has got me, and I cant stop playing regardless of weather, so I'll be out with my disposable discs come first snow.

8"-1' is my guess. I was hoping for 4" tops so I could sneak out and play a snow round.

I was jk also, losing discs in the snow sucks, but I keep doing it. I'll take a foot of powder over an inch of slush any day.

What's the best color for cactus discs?
