Course Distance: Drivers 320-350+/- ....(Teebird @ 310' +/-) - My home course (Golden Gate Park - SF) is an (average) 300' (par 3) course with lightly wooded holes. It's a long range "precision course" more than a "driving course". Constant light winds in all directions (1 mile from ocean) and slightly hilly. Longest hole, in deepest position, is 386'. <- Every hole is Drive then putt, if you have the drive or know the driving line.

Drivers -
Star Katana (170): Straight Driver / Main Distance Driver (experiementing as roller disc.)
Pro Destroyer(171): Main Turnover, Hyzer Spike, & Forehand Driver
Champion Wraith(170): Control Driver / Backup Driver (Working to break in and experiment with a Pro Boss)
TeeBird / Eagle(170): (Disc In Bag Depends on Wind): Perfect Control Disc
Predator(171): Max Distance Forehand (Current Overhand Disc)
(* Currently learning Overhand and Rollers as my home course has little need for them).

Fairway -
Star Katana(170): Super Max Distance. GOod for shorter range "table top" flat shots (TeeBird on steroids).
Star Teebird / Star Eagle(170): Max Distance (aka Alternate Drive distance)
Predator: Sidearm, Wind and hard Fade Driver. (Aka Alternate Drive distance)
Star SL(168): Used to be a driver until the Katana.... Since adapted to a precision placement disc. Max Range Fairway Placement.
Star Orc(164): Short Range driver... Any shot i'd use the SL for that needs a hard fade, Short Flick Forehand (200' +/-), Max Range Fairway placement.
Champion Leopard(168): Controlled Placement with little fade. (175'-200') - Replacement will be Star.
Elite Z Buzz(171): Straight Shots. Overall the same shot as the Leopard but 50' shorter.

Approach: (Everything starts as a Roc shot.. Depending ont he "variation is what i select..."
Elite Z Buzz(171): Straight Placement shots. When you want to attempt a super long range putt that's straight. Tad bit longer than the roc. Think "Leopard Lite"; I was told a Mako is the same disc in innova. (will experiment).
DX Roc(168): Placement disc. Great Hyzer and anhyzer disc. If you are within your arm range, this disc will go wherever you want with a little fade... (Loved the Skeeter, until i found the roc... Skeeter is too straight).
Champion Gator(170): This is the ultimate short fairway/approach forehand disc. Winds seem to have Zero affect on this disc. It also works as a hard fade disc in the same ranges. Think "when i need to throw it and stay on the ground....."
Gummy Champion Rhyno(170): If thrown hard enough (HF / BH) this is a very straight disc....Think Gator Light, Buzz Light.... Think Gator but 2/3 the distance.
I use it as a "gimme" putter.

Putters:
Gummy Champion Rhyno(170): Gimme Putts. Also used as an uphill putter and any putt where i want the disc to stop where it first hits.
DX Champion Skeeter(173): I used a 175 Aviar P & A and it made a huge difference, but i wanted a more "driver-ish feel" ; loved a 168 skeeter until i found the roc and Buzz..... experiment.... Not quite satisfied as a long range putter... will try a magnet next.

My "high" speed stuff goes 350 golf D for me with decent control. If I could get a Wraith to go near 400, I'd add it but until then there's no need for it.
My point exactly. Many of the courses that I have played, being able to drive more then 350 feet doesn't always give that player a distinct advantage over others. From 250 feet in, that is where you need to be on top of your game.

the real question is whats up with the driver lineup? Do you really need the max, and the tee rex, or the wraith and the surge? Beast is garbage, eagle and teebird?

I throw mainly RHFH & here's what I use.

Drivers
169g Elite-X Avenger
163g DX Valkyrie
165g 1st Run Pro TeeBird
170g Elite-X XL
172g Star Leopard
175g DX Leopard

Mid Drivers
172g DX Panther
168g DX Panther
167g Star Skeeter

Mid Range
173g Gold Line Core
170g Elite-X Buzzz
150g DX Shark

Putters
175g SSS Wizard
174g Elite-X Soft Focus

The Avenger might be too much for me, but I'm gonna try to work it in. The Teebird / Leopard / Panther / Shark combo has been a part of my bag for years, the rest I'm experimenting with to find some winners.
