Just stand with no disc no momentum balanced on your front foot and lift your toes inside your shoe and take an arm swing, you should pivot automatically and feel a major difference trying to pivot on your toes vs heel doing that, where on the toes your knee really feels that torque of your body having to spin backwards away from target to go around the toes rather than just pivot centered through the heel.

pivot on the heel for just the forward swing or the back swing too?

Forward. Your arm swinging over the foot should cause it to pivot.

I'm starting to feel the difference. I still have the terrible habit of lifting my toes way too high tho.

Still can't stop what feels like lifting my toes way too much on the pivot.

Do I need my weight to fully be on the front heel?

I feel like I'm more centered over the foot, I used to try to get to the heel and I would be too far behind/to the right of the foot. I think you have to be way too far to the left or over the toes for the foot to not release when swinging and to feel jammed.

Injury bug this year

I strained my adductor on the left side (at least that's what the Dr thinks). It's already been a month but I'm supposed to chill for another month for PT.

I'm kinda thinking I can still play and just throw from the front leg

Answer to a month old question that nobody on Earth cares about.

Hip impingement. Worse on the right side.
