Well I figured this thread deserves a boot to get off it's ass...

Not entirely sure of the exact date but the Island series has changed the date for Mary's farm, I believe it's the 15th ish now instead of the 28th.. Double check Facebook if you were going to play in it.

The Triple Crown event on Pender Island is the 21st of September if anyone remembers the old course we set it up that way and fight the regular flow.. Starts at 9am. It's a small club"ish" tournament but you local guys that know us are always welcome. Well anyone's welcome, but don't expect much of a payout, I will be defending my trophy...

I play in Canada a lot during business travel. Love playing Toronto Island. Very peaceful a good course for risk / reward shots.

One of the more robust Canadian DG scenes has to be Edmonton. Not a lot of courses yet but huge league participation and definitely the most tricked-out home-made DG carts I've ever come across.

I was at a sea ray rendezvous on pender at poets cove on the long weekend there. Unexpectedly booted into theives bay at walked up to the course with my brothers. We were quite hungover but I still managed to walk away with an -8. Good times as always. I’ll probably be playing marys coming up. I haven’t played a tourney all summer, been too busy.

Triple Crown kicks off Saturday on Pender at 9am.. Starts at my house, I'm not sure if I will play it all, pretty sore and really need to sit in the office. I guess we will see if it's even partners or not. I don't want to bail and leave an odd count. I also hate to give up the trophy without a fight..

Never noticed this thread before. I just won these 2 Discs as a CTP prize. They’re stamped with the tourney stamp for our upcoming event, with Bryan Freese highlighted as the 2x and returning champ. Just wanted to give him a shoutout. Super nice guy and amazing golfer.

Not sure how to embed photos from my library, so it’s just an attachment.

Election Day! Any predictions out there? If I was betting I'd say Liberal minority government.

Cedar hill open happening in Victoria this Saturday! We got a chance to host this tourney on cedar hill golf course in town. First time ever for discs flying on site there. If all goes well this could be a huge deal for the Disc golf scene in Victoria with hopes of a gold level permanent course nearby. Fingers crossed!
