Question windy day putter

played a tournament yesterday and the winds were in the 20mph area, effected my discs alot! has anyone found a putter that isn't effected that much by the wind? I was using a Gateway soft voodoo before i switched to a discraft zone. the zone seemed to be better but was still noticably effected

All discs are affected by the wind. I use the same putter I always do and just compensate for whatever kind of wind is coming in. 166g OG Wizard. You should be able to putt with the same disc you'd typically use.

Champ Rhyno 175 is a good putter and less stable than zone. Wind is wind, so I find releasing the disc on hyzers or anhyzers routes to be helpful when following the direction of the breeze. Having your nose up or down will also affect the flight. Pigs are another wind putter. Like with any disc in the wind, it is good to be very direct. The rims on the rhyno and pig molds may feel easier to throw.

ESP Zones are stable, but some may think they are to slippery.

Hey, you know what's better than carrying a putter specifically for the seldom occasion that it's windy? Using your mid that you carry anyway.
