Default Got me a cart and loving it!

I've been battling some pain in my lower back since March and finally last week the insurance approved a spinal epidural steroid injection and it looks like i may need another since the first one didn't do anything for my pain. Turned 42 in March so decided to give my back a break and try out a cart, WOW what a difference! i know there are a few folks on here that will think thats funny and I hope you saw the title and didn't bother to read this but if you did don't hate on it. I don't drink beer during a round but water for me and my dog Penny can get pretty heavy, not to mention the 15 discs and bug spray. So in order for me to keep playing this great sport we have all found, a cart is definitely a piece of equipment that I have to use. I researched and found that a Bagboy Quad was my best bet for its size and weight. A bit pricey at $199 but I managed to find a
Speed cart cheap and sell it for a nice profit towards this baby.

Looks sweet..

Im kind of annoyed that I could never use a cart at my local course I dont need one yet, but as I get up in my years I could imagine it being very nice to cut down the strain on my back (car wreck).

I actually had a similar Bag Boy cart when my back issues were more severe. It did not last a year on the courses around here. The handle broke into pieces because of the simple plastic attachments to the cart.

I'm not sure if course conditions played a factor in the quick demise of my old one, but I was sorely disappointed because of the $250 price tag.

I replaced the cart with something similar (another $250), but have not used it much b/c my back pain is under control thanks to regular acupuncture treatments. I also visited a chiropractor on a regular basis for about 4-5 months when the pain level was higher.

Good luck with the new cart!

Nice Rig! The courses around me are too hilly though...lots of cliffs and such. Maybe I could hook up some helium balloons?
