Against who, though?

Sure a player can't control his competition...

But I imagine the competition now is much better. And back in the day without the NT Series, he played a lot more regional events which padded stats, I believe.

McBeth doesn't even have as many Worlds titles as Doss yet, and he's never won the USDGC. I think it's a little early to be having this discussion...

Ok which discs do I need to throw at cliff stephens when I get back to FL? I'm sure i'll have a free day before my flight back to CA for a fun "old school" round. I believe I can get someone to film.

Like MTL said Climo's the best
I'm along the lines of everyone else, Chasing.

Warning: semantics coming.

GOAT = Greatest of All Time

Think about that for a second. All time?

Climo isn't the greatest of all time, nor is Paul. It's some guy named Zorbo, 250 years from now with a bionic arm and a targeting reticule for an eye.

Maybe we should talk about GIAOH: greatest in all of history.

Maybe you ought to play the USDGC with only a Zephyr.

anyone who discredits climo's amazing run of A tier, NT, world's and usdgc wins because "the players just weren't as good back then" is insulting the 100 or so of us who traveled the states and the world to play against him. you don't remember their names? well just take a look at the disc golf hall of fame inductees every year for a refresher.

climo set the bar very very high. in fact, he set it so high that to this day, no one has reached it. there are a couple of players i see now that have potential to change the game in the same way that climo did, but they will have to play a hundred more tourneys to reach the bar kenny set, and in doing so, they just might raise it. time will tell.

p.s. i don't recall ever seeing kenny throw a phenix. i distinctly remember seeing him throw laser accurate cobras 400+ though. there were a number of pros who could throw further than climo, and a number of pros who could putt better than climo, but he's the champ because he played a better round of golf than all of us, week after week.

If Climo & Barry had larger rimed distance drivers like Destroyers early in their careers they would of been throwing just as far & accurately (if not more so) then the current top pros.
So perfectly said. Ken Climo is just absolutely freaking ridiculous. One of my buddies is about as old school about sports figures as it comes and despite being a discraft exclusive player, he idolizes Ken Climo.

Climo has the record. McBeth is chasing them. Only time will tell.
Mcbeth isnt even tiger. Cmon ppl, mcbeth had a great year but nikko did as well a few years ago and was billed the next climo.

If mcbeth can stick to full time golf for the next decade then he mite have a chance at eclipsing climo. Just look at it that way ppl, mcbeth would need 10 years of straight worlds wins to get to climo in the fastest fashion....10 years! The odds are very much against him.

Climo is a proven champion. While mcbeth is impressive, he has a long way to go
