In our recent video discussing the inconsistencies of disc manufacturing, we noticed something very unusual, and honestly, a bit upsetting. It was obvious that the 2022 run of the Innova Teebird was a lot different than previous years models. We noticed that Innova changed the plastic of their Teebird to be more flexible and grippy at the cost of disc stability.
Although we only had the Teebird to compare (in the star plastic), it got us wondering how widespread this change in plastic was amongst their discs, and other disc golf brands.
In this video, well therefore share our discovery, and discuss how disc golf brands/companies who produce discs, need to be more transparent to consumers.
