This is the strangest hole at Borden, especially to a newcomer. The basket you are playing to is almost directly to the right of the tee, but a mando calls for a throw to the left of the first tree. Any short drive that will cut hard to the right can help make this hole in birdie.

This hole is designed for the RHF and LHB driving styles. Regardless of your usual type of drive, the line of trees to the right and one giant tree in front of the basket call for a throw into the open left side of the fairway.

For a first-time player, the 9 hole basket may be difficult to locate. When standing on/beside the concrete tee, look to the right and around 250 ft. away the correct basket is hidden behind a group of trees.

There are two ways to go about this hole depending on which drive type is most comfortable for the thrower. While there is a relatively straight lane between trees leading to the basket, one may also throw far right into the open with a hard curve needed left.

Long line of trees down the left side leading to the basket. There is a mando on the first tree to throw to the right. A hard curve left is needed to finish in par.

Line of trees are to the left. Not a long distance to the basket, so a 185 foot throw curving left will make for a birdie.
