1) Check sign for basket position. 2) After threading through the tree guardians, know that the road sweeps at an angle left to right across the fairway 200+ feet out, and is usually played as OB. If you can't reach the basket under control, it's OK to 'lay up' if need be and play for a smooth up shot. Only the pros consistently deuce this one.
