Yellow Tees - Risk here is a rollaway that comes back down the hill and into the water, happens more often than you would think because the ground is firm. It is important to get your drive pin high.

Blue Tees - watch for the slope to the left of the basket off of the tee. Definite risk for a rollaway down the hill into the water.

Drive: Get it to the top of the hill safely. Any further than that is icing on the cake

Approach: Fairway to the basket slopes downhill a lot more than it looks, throw further right to get a nice hyzer finish and don't over throw it

Throwing across the water: Plays a lot farther than you think, bomb your shot (better safe than sorry)

Yellow tee: Skid a backhand

The alley towards this pin is at a near perfect right angle to the fairway, so show off a lot more arm than you think it looks. Get a nice hyzer finish to put you in a spot to get a 2 (even though it most likely won't happen, this is a very difficult hole to birdie)

The main key is not to end up in "jail" which is the stack of woods short left. If you end up short, the furthest to the right while remaining safe will be the best option if you can't get it there from your drive

Be careful on your approach. Carefully consider spike shots or a low approach that will skid to the basket. If you can't consistently park your approaches, put it the left of the basket so you don't have a missed putt go into the creek

For those with power arms: Destroyer or your equivalent right around the right side of the tree at the bottom of the hill will give you the best result. If you're uncomfortable with your accuracy, this hole is about being able to bomb a second shot so put yourself in a safe situation.

Unsure or doubtful to drive across the creek: Lay up straight down the hill. Give yourself an alley to be able to bomb a second shot.

Opinion: Best route is big anhyzer with an overstable disc to miss the branch. If you're familiar with the shot and the wind doesn't mess with you, you could be looking at an eagle.

Other options: forehand roller, low backhand drive, power forehand

Hyzer around the right can be risky in of itself but it's the safest route. If you have a disc that you can S curve consistently with power, go down the center but the key is YOU MUST MISS THE CENTER TREE. This hole is less about the drive than it is the availability to have a good 2nd shot

Yellow:
Blast a midrange straight at it. Do not end up short, better to go long
Blue: Driver RHFH shot around all the trees trying to end up down the hill

Hyzer bomb to the basket. You don't need to kill it, be accurate and let skips be your friend if it doesn't go far enough
