The final hole is a long, sweeping right turn, ending with an elevated basket. The fairway transitions from wooded to open, but the open area hugs the tree line closely, so shots too far to the right will get caught up in the foliage. The elevated basket changes the putting line just enough to make the slightest breeze a danger. Finish strong, and reward yourself with an ice cream cone from the park's general store.

In keeping with the "up the hill, down the hill" pattern of the last several holes, once again it is time to go up! This hole starts with a wide open fairway which begs for the player to unleash another monster drive; but use caution, placement for the second shot, which re-enters the woods and goes sharply upwards, is absolutely critical. Land a few feet outside of the fairway line, and a straight uphill approach becomes a logistical nightmare. The slope is steep, but the ground is fairly rocky, which should help keep rollaways to a minimum.

From a 373 foot par 4 to a 737 foot par 4; the difference is in the elevation. With 80 feet of drop, mostly over the first 300 feet of the fairway, this is another of the picturesque signature holes on the course. Wind up your driver and watch it soar; just be sure to clear the meadow grass covering the downslope. The grass is only trimmed a few times a year, so it is often 3+ feet high and very thick. Without a spotter, discs that fall into the grassy sea are likely lost for good. Make your approach to a green guarded by several large trees. Be aware that the fence and the road beyond the basket are OB, but there is plenty of green to work with, so pars and birdies are manageable.

A very straightforward, rather short par 4. At 373 feet, someone might expect that this would be an easy birdie hole at the very least. But with 66 feet of incline over that 373 feet (that's a 17.6 degree slope!), this isn't your normal par 4 hole! Two different fairways are available (left and right) leading to a blind green hidden by the top of the ridge. Rollaways are not only possible, they're likely. Pay attention to your landing area and escape with a par or better. Do so, and you'll gain strokes on a large part of the field.

One of the signature holes on the course, hole 14 is a dogleg left, 732 foot nightmare. The turn is 275 feet down the fairway, which also includes a fair amount of elevation change UPWARDS before the turn. The remainder of the fairway is a severe down slope with multiple narrow alleys to the basket; but every throw is just one tree kick away from disaster. The tightly guarded basket beckons, tempting players to try to make up strokes; but, like most of the preceding holes, this one scores well above par -- so proceed with caution.

The drive on this short part 3 is uphill and transitions from a wooded to an open fairway. Once again the green is guarded by several large trees with low branches, making approaching difficult. In addition, the upslope can make it difficult to judge the distance to the pin, and an error in judgement on what seems like a simple hole can quickly turn into extra strokes.
Note: Multiple reports of a large buck in this area have been received. Hunting is not permitted in the park -- not even with drivers!!!

Hole 12 starts out in the open, but quickly transitions into the woods once again. Once inside the treeline, the fairway curves gently to the left as it descends to a small plateau green. The entire fairway slopes down to the left, and many errant shots have found their way to the fence and the creek at the bottom of the hill. The trees are thick, the ground is rocky, and the recovery shots are as difficult as they are plentiful. At this point in the course, mental and physical fatigue can begin to play a role in shot selection and execution.

Lefties rejoice!! This hole is only moderately difficult for you, where as right handed players with no forehand ability may be in for some sweat and tears! The elevation change is gradual, but the sharp right turn in the fairway keeps the difficulty level high on this hole. Keeping your shots in the fairway is a necessity for scoring well here. The green opens up to the left of the pin, so keep your approaches to that side of the fairway.

Transitioning back into the woods, hole 10 demands accuracy. The fairway curves right and slopes left, creating the possibility for drives to skip off of the fairway and into trouble. Most of the elevation change is on the second half of the fairway, so it makes for a touchy approach. A MASSIVE dropoff just behind the basket punishes long approaches with the possibility of multiple added strokes, while approaches that are too short set up a "death putt" situation. Par on this hole is a great score -- as double (and even triple) bogies are not uncommon.

Finally -- a par 3 hole under 300 feet! If this sounds like an easy birdie, think again! Although there is only 14 feet of elevation from the tee to the pin, this hole plays MUCH longer than its reported distance! Thick trees guard the left approach to the pin, while a lone guardian tree stands to the right. Manage to hit the green on your drive, and you have an excellent birdie opportunity. Miss the green, and your limited options could turn into lost strokes.
