The Painted Turtle at West Two Rivers is the more open and beginner friendly of the two courses onsite. The course plays almost entirely in the open section of the park south of the baseball diamond.

The baskets here are Prodigy's with the lime green bands and cages. These catch OK and are generally pretty easy to spot. One pin position per hole. The tees are natural but are in good shape. Doubtful that this course gets much play so they'll probably stay that way.

The flow of the course is pretty simple. It basically plays clockwise from the parking area. The distances are on the shorter side, which is to be expected for a rec course at a campground.

The tee signs are just two (sometimes only one) white posts indicating the front corners of the tee area. These have the hole # sharpied on them.

The course favors a RHBH shot, but is open enough that any shot can work. Most holes play right to left if anything though. Hole 7 is the "signature" hole on the course. It's a sub 200' tunnel shot with the lake lurking 25' or so deep of the basket.

The course was clean, free to play and won't take more than 30 minutes or so to play.

The course plays over the park roads in spots which can cause issues with other park users and scuffed up discs if you skip off the pavement.

A little repetitive feeling. Holes 3,7 and 9 are the only ones that seem to anything remotely challenging about them. Even then it's just a tunnel or the pin being tucked into the brush or blind. But all are better than the rest.

Hole 8 has you throwing over the volleyball court. In fact, it's the only obstacle off the tee.

One of 2 courses onsite, and this is actually a pretty solid one for beginners or people just playing for the first time who are camping there. As long as the rest of the area around the course isn't busy. Not worth your time to play this one by itself, but since there's another 9 onsite, it's worth a quick visit if you're nearby and are short on time or something. If not just head to Judson or Chisholm instead.

Extra new course that would be nice if holes were longer. The prodigy baskets are sick and catch really well which is the only reason I would play the course. I'm sure that a lot of work will be put in to make this course a lot better but for being so new it sufficed.
