About me and my reviews/ratings:
I throw about 325' and play intermediate. Dedicated course bagger. I like courses with technical shots, especially good combinations of woods, elevation, and tricky greens. I really like courses with a good variety of different shots, distances, and terrains and have that epic feel to them, particularly when secluded and spread over a large area. I appreciate course amenities but I don't mark down for their absence so long as the course is safe and playable (i.e. natural tees are cool but they should be flat and not have stumps, etc). I don't automatically rate 9 hole courses lower but it takes a lot for me to give them higher than a 3.5 rating. A lot of the time reviews are a way for me to organize my own thoughts about a course but I hope that my reviews are informative and useful to others. I like throwing vintage plastic, Innova fairway drivers, Discraft mids, and Wizards.
