Pros: There are 18 baskets. There is really nothing else good about it.
Cons: Its all open. The holes run parallel, and right on the edge of, the expressway for a good chunk of the front 9. It is extremely unclear as to what basket is for what hole, as there are no markings except for the number on the basket, which can't be seen from a distance. There are no mats or cement pads for tees, or even like a permanent marker, ... See Morejust a narrow strip of dirt where people wore the grass away. The holes are pretty short overall, a couple definite par 2's. At times you are throwing towards parking lots, or tennis courts, or picnic tables; during warm weather these will all be in use. Its just a horrible course, would not recommend to anyone ever.
Other Thoughts: They should tear out the baskets and give them to me, i could make a better course in my back yard.

Pros: This course has a few interesting holes that make good use of the few elevation changes in the park. In particular, the uphill sweeping left on #4, the hidden pin in the dip behind the knoll on #5, the throw across the valley and over the drainage ditch through the hedgerow from the new tee on #15, and the long, long, long gradual downhill on #16. The creative pin placement behind the bushes on #14 and the new tee placement on #15 added interest, while the lengths over 400' on #1, #4, #6-#12, #16, and #17 will keep power throwers from being totally bored.

The dirt tees, although deeply rutted into the ground, offer firm footing when dry.

There's almost no chance of losing a disc here as everything is wide open, unless you shank it into the dense woods off the pro tee on 16, or a car runs over it on any of the roads.
Cons: Grrrrr.....I HATE having to search and search and search for the next tee!! No signage of any kind anywhere meant I never knew if I was on the right tee or shooting at the right basket. Even with the park only mowing the fairways, navigation was a nightmare. So, print and take the map, right??? Nope. Even with the map in hand, I had a hard time finding the tee boxes on #10, #14, and #15 (as it appears there's 2 different ones). In addition, I couldn't believe that the tee for #13 sits almost right on the fairway for #12, and you have to shoot across the #12 fairway to the pin. Something as cheap and simple as using a Sharpie to mark the hole number on the orange pin flags marking the tees on many of the holes would have helped immensely.

With a park this big and open, you'd think it would be possible to design a course that doesn't shoot over or at every road, path, and sports field in the place!

The first tee and last baskets are in very odd places so that there's no place to park where you don't have a massive hike to and from your car, and making you shoot at the parking lot on #1 is just stupid. Of the 2 groups ahead of me, 4 people almost hit my car.
Other Thoughts: This multi-use park is nicely kept and very busy. The restroom were spotless.

Low lying areas and clay-based soil means much of this course is waterlogged and soggy after a rain. I'd think the tee areas would get slippery when wet, as well.

Wind is in play on EVERY hole! Avoid this course if the wind is over 10-15 MPH unless you thrive on big winds. (I don't, and the 30-40 MPH gust we had today SUCKED!).

I get that the designers wished to use as many terrain and vegetation elements as possible in the park, but it left the layout feeling disjointed and awkward with no flow and many, many areas where errant throws would be dangerous to other discers, park users, and vehicles. In particular, the design of the back 9 feels "added-on" and rushed.

Unless you love long drives and no technical challenge, I wouldn't recommend this course.....there are so many better options in the GR area.

Pros: A good amount of open shots and nice place to shoot. You can bomb a lot on this place and get some good turn out. There are a good amount of uphill and downhill shots and no brush or anything to lose discs.
Cons: No shade at all. A few holes are around roads and playgrounds so you may hit children or cars( my friend actually hit a car which drove right into his disc but no damage was done so they didn't care)
Other Thoughts: It's fun, you may want to go with someone who has been there cause it can be hard to figure out where to go or which bucket to shoot at sometimes.

A Decent Course With Some Major Flaws

Pros: This course has some fun holes, and even though it's pretty open it does have some trees and hills that it uses to its advantage to create some tricky holes. The fairways are mowed, and the weeds in the rough can be real tall, encouraging you to have accurate drives off the tees. A few of the holes favor backhand drives while others favor forehand drives. There's also a wooded area near some of the holes. This is a nice big park for disc golf, and it has become a good course for people to play, especially when there aren't any soccer games or baseball games being played and there aren't many cars in the parking lot either.
Cons: First of all, it would be nice if they could get cement tee pads so the players aren't standing on uneven ground when they tee off. There are quite a few holes on this course that are real close to the baseball fields and soccer fields, and it isn't safe to play those holes when those fields are being used, unless you're a real accurate thrower. There are also a few holes located near the parking lot, which means that on a busy day a lot of people's cars are in danger of getting hit by a disc that is thrown slightly off target. Some of the holes are way too short and easy to get a low score on. One other problem I have with this course is the par that's assigned for the holes. Most of these holes are in par 3 range, but a lot of them are labeled as par 4s, and at least one is labeled a par 5. There are holes that are long enough that they can be considered par 4s, but some of them are labeled as par 5s instead. This really doesn't make sense. It's way too easy to get under par on these so-called "par 4s" and "par 5s" because of how short and easy they are. Also, it would be nice if they could add some trees and bushes to some of the more open holes to help make them a little more fun and challenging to play.
Other Thoughts: I don't mind playing this course, but it's not a good idea to play here when there are soccer games and/or baseball games being played because some of those playing fields can interfere with people playing disc golf, and there are also a few holes where it would be easy for a player's disc to accidentally hit a car in the parking lot.

Pros: Lots of room for big arms. Mowed fairways help navigation. Some elevation changes, one long uphill. Not alot of disc golf traffic.
Cons: The downloadable map with scorecard is decieving. The lengths listed on card are nowhere near actual distances(play far shorter than listed). Couldnt find tee off on #14(blind uphill drive). No signs. Couldnt use intended tee box on #10 due to kids soccer game. Lots of traffic due to soccer and field hockey games going on. Played early Sat morning.
Other Thoughts: Dont go on a Sat morning. At least not during soccer and field hockey season. With signage this would be a really nice course. Need to get the scorecard found on this site figured out as it is not correct to actual distance.

Pros: -Long holes, a couple over 600ft
-great safe area, big park
-not too crowded ever
-18 holes
-nice new baskets
-beautiful open fairways
-elevation changes
Cons: -download a course map or youll never figure this park out
- the layout of the course is a bit goofy
-several baskets near parking lots (literally like 5 feet from parked cars)
-must throw over the road with cars driving by some times.
-holes criss crossing each other
-mediocre course design, theres so much room here and they laid this course out wrong in my opinion.
-no pads , tees are natural
-no signs, poles, markings for the course whatsoever
-along the highway for the first 5 holes,
- it is usually very windy.
-lacking more obstacles, most holes are just very long with 1-2 trees to avoid.
Other Thoughts: This park used to be a pole course, i played it 15 years ago.It continues to get better every year. Plan on being here a while, lots of ground to cover.

Pros: Long, with some big hills, mowed-grass fairways define the holes and walks. Tee signs not needed. Little to no rough or danger. Good and plenty O.B. hazards. Balanced shots.
Cons: Not much in the way of obstacles to shoot around. No tee signs at all, or map. Hole #1 has you walk away from the parking lot to the tee and back towards it, shooting at your own windshield possibly. Dirt tees are 2-3" deep in the middle, hard to run up from the side.
Other Thoughts: worth a look-see, map not needed as mowed grass leads you around

Pros: Cascade has been getting better since it was created 3 years ago. The county now only mows the fairways making it much easier to navigate. The course is extremely long and will give you a lot of practice with your drivers. A variety of shots make this course a lot of fun. Uphill, downhill, flat, blind, short, LONG, left, right....great course.
Cons: Dirt pads accompanied with no signs can make the course difficult to navigate the first time you play it. But now that they just cut the fairways it's much easier to see where you should be going.

Pros: -Alot of 500+ feet holes
-Verry open
-Not to many people playing
-Alot of diffrent shots
Cons: -Dirt teepads
-Verry windy
-No signs
Other Thoughts: Print off the course map it will make playing alto easier if its your first time.

Hole 12's basket is there, but not where it shows on the printout, it is further away from the baseball fields fence.

Pros: Very open fairways and not too many trees to worry about. Great uses of elevation and not a very busy park. Nice long holes for those of you that enjoy courses with long holes. Most of them are about 400' I would guess. Easy to find and to get to.
Cons: Some of the shots are very goofy. 12 and 13 are in each others fair way and hole 15 is RIGHT next to the parking lot. If you have a stroller, sometimes pushing it up and down the hills can be it pain. Is deffinately doable, I do it all the time just be wary.
Other Thoughts: My finace hit a car with his frisbee on hole 15. Beware!
