Pros:

The baskets (Mach New 2's) were in good condition. This isn't a course, but you can come up with some pretty interesting holes. There are many majestic, mature trees spread throughout this space. The bike path that circles around the park can be used for concrete tees if you don't want to play basket to basket. There is a bigger open area adjacent on the southeast side if you don't want trees in your way while doing fieldwork. This is technically a "practice area," and it is a good one as it offers space to practice open shots, hitting lines around trees, putting, and approaches from all different angles. Basically no disc loss potential.

Cons:

This place is frying pan flat. In order to make best use of this area, the baskets had to be kind of put in the corners. Unfortunately, if you want to throw from basket to basket, this setup is going to have you throwing over the concrete bike path each time.

Also, I didn't find any parking at the park, itself. If you're coming from the North like listed in the directions, then keep going past the park, turn right, and park at the old football field. It's a pretty short walk back to the park (you may even want to play it as a warmup hole).

Other Thoughts:

This park kind of sits diagonally, so there's essentially a park in the North corner, East corner, South corner, West corner, and the middle (this one is framed nicely by some trees which kind of compensates for what is likely a shorter safari hole). I started on the bike path by the South basket and threw to the East basket. From there I threw basket to basket (several 300-ish ft shots except for when throwing to/from the middle basket) East to North, North to West, West to Central, Central to South. It probably took like 10-15 minutes. If you're a course bagger driving by, that makes this a great stop. Otherwise, I would really only play this if you actually lived in Ogden.
