Pros: -- New baskets and a mix of holes and hole types (some tightly wooded and shorter than 200 feet and two open holes longer than 400 feet).
-- Water IS IN PLAY in a major way on four of the nine holes (1-2, 8-9). There is no water carry, but in one round from the short tees, my playing partner found the creek on Nos. 1 and 2 and I came within a foot of the water on No. 8.
-- Really nice bridges to cross between 2-3 and 9-1.
-- Baskets are numbered.
-- Course flow is very good. There is a walk across a bridge to get from 2 to 3, but it's pretty short and intuitive.
Cons: -- No tee signs or anything approaching tee pads. Tee areas are marked by red or white flags in the ground. They aren't likely to last long.
-- No course map. Finding the first hole is a challenge.
-- Wind. I played on a very windy day, but when you pass a wind farm a few miles from the course, expect wind to be a factor. On the more open holes (3-7), wind is a HUGE factor.
-- Mandos. Some are for safety, but too many seem to be part of course design, and I am not a fan of those.
Other Thoughts: -- This was a fun course to play. The water holes offer really good risk/reward. The differences between the white and red tees made for different looks on some holes. 1 and 8 were the best examples.
-- With any sort of tee pads and basic signs (hole number and distance are all that are really needed), this would be a 3.0 course.

Pros: New baskets in 2 sections of park. For a small town this is a nice park with mature trees on first 2 and new baskets.
The 1st 2 holes have super mature trees.
Cons: There is slight elevation changes and a big creek not in play at all. No permittee tee signs/pads.
Before they put out signs i hope they change layout and try to add distance/ Add elevation. The tee and the basket are better at different heights. Just one hole needs to be over the creek. That would be fun.
Other Thoughts: This is NOT and 18 with 2 tee markers. Most of the tee markers are gone but even when there are 2 its just normal short long no difference in layout. Not drastic enough to be 18
GOOGLE maps takes you to 8 have to walk over bridge back to 1 or circle park. Real parking is north east side near 1
