An afterthought
5 Helpful / 0 Not
Pros: -Upkeep of the park is OK
-Quiet with no ball games going on
Cons: -Minimal signage (DGA Peel n Stick signs, most missing the stickers, 1 sign missing, 1 in the dirt)
-No thought on Par (All Par 3s, some long)
-End of course at corner of park, parking in middle
-A couple of bent baskets
Other Thoughts: Runnels City Park DGC seems like an afterthought in this park that is mostly for baseball. The first 3 holes play away from the fields, but the rest play around and between them. Grass tees are marked only by a sign, with #4 in the dirt and #8 missing. #8 plays right between 2 ball fields. The design of this course seems poor, The execution is passable. No benches, trash cans, or a map to know where you are going. The whole course seems like it was slapped up and then not kept up. I would pass on this course, will not make the effort to play again.
